What are the dates of the event?
The extended festival dates are 5th to 7th December 2025 in Pune (Fri, Sat, Sun).
We are trying to organize a welcome milonga on Thu, Dec 4th. This milonga will have an additional cover charge. We will announce it as soon as we can confirm the venue.
The Pune Tango Community home milonga is scheduled on Tue, Dec 9th, 2025. This milonga is free for all participants of the Pune Tangotsav.
What should I expect if I am participating in the event?
The festival has four milongas. Three happen in the evenings – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There’s also a daytime milonga on Sunday.
Your full pass includes workshops. We’ve planned tango activities with a live band. Members of Pune Tango Community will perform.
Who is expected to register for the event?
All tango dancers, including DJs, photographers, workshop teachers, and volunteers, must register and pay for the event by completing the registration form.
What is the venue for the event?
The venue for the evening milongas on Fri, Sat, and Sun is The Residency Club (https://residencyclub.co.in/) in Pune Camp. The milongas will be held in an air-conditioned space with wooden floors.

Will I be issued a refund in the unfortunate event that I have to cancel my participation? Can I cancel after registering?
- Cancellations on or before 24th Nov 2024: 100% refund
- Cancellations 25th Nov 2024 till 4th Dec 2024: ₹1,000 cancellation fee
- Cancellations on or after 5th Dec 2024 or No-Show: No refund
- Passes are non-transferable.
- All refunds will be processed within a week of completion of the event

Will any tango workshops be conducted?
Yes. Tango workshops will be included in the pass price. See the schedule.
I do not use any online banking channels. How can I register for the event?
Find a friend who uses online banking channels, pay them the registration amount in cash and request them to pay online for you. Do not forget to ask your friend to send you a screenshot of the payment. Then fill out the Registration form (see link above).
What are the options for getting around Pune?
